EXTREME Tree cutting fails and idiots with chainsaws, Tree falling in house, Tree falling on car

  • rupe53
rupe53 1 buwan ang nakalipas When in doubt cut smaller pieces. They do less damage when they fall in the wrong direction!
  • HJB
HJB 3 (na) linggo ang nakalipas @rupe53 IF we can : /
  • rupe53
rupe53 1 buwan ang nakalipas @Allan Erickson… Not a professional but anyone who has used a chain saw probably has at least one story to tell, even of it's just backing your truck over the gas can. We've all done something we can talk about over a beer at the end of the day. <LOL>
  • Allan Erickson
Allan Erickson 1 buwan ang nakalipas @rupe53 - you one of them Elma WA Rupes?
  • jaim haas
jaim haas 1 buwan ang nakalipas @turtlezed anyone who has done this for a living probably has stories...I know for the 20 some years I was a serious log cutter I have some dandies to tell.
  • turtlezed
turtlezed 1 buwan ang nakalipas @jaim haas and scant knowledge of the subject in hand.......
  • jaim haas
jaim haas 1 buwan ang nakalipas @rupe53 for sure ...I can relate and it has led to me often biting off more than I can chew. Clearly many of these accidents involve huge egos with a sprinkling of stupidity. ....ok maybe in some cases a whole lot of stupidity.
  • rupe53
rupe53 1 buwan ang nakalipas @jaim haas… the problem with a big ego is they usually like to feed that ego, which means taking risks. (bragging rights, if you will)
  • jaim haas
jaim haas 1 buwan ang nakalipas Or hire someone with a bigger ego.
  • Grackle2012
Grackle2012 1 buwan ang nakalipas Word. That's good life advice in general. Sensible bites!
  • vollyman1962
vollyman1962 1 buwan ang nakalipas As a formal logger with MANY hours cutting trees and wanting to work safely - The stupidity here is just ....I have no words.
  • jaim haas
jaim haas 2 (na) linggo ang nakalipas @Frank G neighbors are just not that great!...I wish I was in the rural part of Alaska!
  • jaim haas
jaim haas 3 (na) linggo ang nakalipas @Neil Cowan no swearing and correct punctuation is also required with tails.
  • Neil Cowan
Neil Cowan 3 (na) linggo ang nakalipas Formal logger? - I'm sssuming your work attire is black tie and tails ? :P
  • John McCallum
John McCallum 1 buwan ang nakalipas Not really he does this when site clearing so it also saves time as he would only have to dig up the stumps anyway.
  • jaim haas
jaim haas 1 buwan ang nakalipas @John McCallum that sounds about as "dirty" as you can get. Why make it so complicated?
  • jaim haas
jaim haas 1 buwan ang nakalipas @British First but using your logic most women shouldn't be driving vehicles.
  • British First
British First 1 buwan ang nakalipas (na-edit) Alot of people just buy a chainsaw just for the fun of it, & decided to cut a tree with out any experience.. not knowing trees are very heavy, people have lost there limbs because with no experience.. that's why you leave it to the experts...
  • Long Ridge
Long Ridge 1 buwan ang nakalipas @li d He likely knew the tree was rotten on the inside as you can feel it in the saw or he seen it when he put his face cut in. Hazzard trees can do anything when they get cut. I'm sure he knew it was likely to blow.
  • jaim haas
jaim haas 1 buwan ang nakalipas ENTERTAINING!
  • John McCallum
John McCallum 1 buwan ang nakalipas I prefer the Letsdig 18 way of felling trees you first dig a dirty big hole at the base then push the fucker over with an excavator.
  • Frank G
Frank G 1 buwan ang nakalipas My respects to the professionals. I witnessed a falling tree kill a man instantly when he tried to run out of the way. Amateurs had good intentions to help out a friend remove a tall tree in his front yard because the neighbors complained about falling leaves littering their property.
  • li d
li d 1 buwan ang nakalipas Hello. Do you have any understanding of the incident beginning at 7:25? It's hard to tell because the camera is so close. Sorta looks like the wood integrity was assumed to be stronger than it was. Or maybe it was a technique issue. Looks scary as all fuck. Immense forces. Li D Australia
  • trimmoos
trimmoos 1 buwan ang nakalipas Tree + Chainsaw + extension Ladder = YouTube fame

  • risk sikrikak
risk sikrikak 1 buwan ang nakalipas (na-edit) Yeah its like using chairs as stages, sliding down bigass stair rails, dancing on tables , just at a lower danger level than the chainsaw , ladder and tree. They both have one thing in common though, none of the people involved have any brains or just momentarily lost them.
  • J. Rey
    J. Rey 1 buwan ang nakalipas If you are planning on climbing a tree with a chainsaw, you better know damn well what you are doing.

  • Blake Ranew
Blake Ranew 1 buwan ang nakalipas That's for sure. It takes years of practice and having the correct equipment drop some trees. But for some reason people think that they're smarter than everyone else. Some of these idiots don't know that the top of trees break a lot of the time because of the vibrations and rot. I wonder if any of these people died

  • Studley Evernuts
Studley Evernuts 1 buwan ang nakalipas The Grim Reaper proves himself to be a patient planner. He rarely kills these people preferring to give them a chance to breed and create new clients for the future. He clearly understands that nothing will be learned and there will be many opportunities to claim each prize.

Cliff Thomas 1 buwan ang nakalipas (na-edit) Having cut down a few trees in the woods, with vehicles parked WAY far away, and knowing how to direct the fall, next to a house is job for the professionals. They got their own insurance if something does go bad.
